From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the exceptionally friendly host, who provided invaluable recommendations for local dining options, including the delightful Favorite Fried Chicken just a short walk away. The family room we were given was not only spacious but also spotlessly clean, featuring a comfortable double bed along with two singles, making it perfect for our group. One aspect that truly stood out was the convenience of free on-site parking, alleviating the usual stress associated with finding accommodation that offers such an amenity without the first come, first served hassle. Despite the simple furnishings, the room's heating system was efficient, ensuring we remained cozy throughout our stay. Sussex Lodge represents remarkable value for money, and I feel fortunate to have discovered a new go-to spot for future visits to London.
